Avira WebGuard Website Exceptions

How to Make an Exception in Avira Antivirus. Avira AntiVir Premium products come equipped with a component called "WebGuard," which scans websites and blocks those which Avira categorizes as phishing attempts, fraud, malware or spam. WebGuard also comes with a Parental Control option--if you purchased the Premium Security Suite--through which you can block websites or categories of websites. The free edition of Avira Antivirus comes with a "Guard" module that scans and blocks programs detected to be malicious.
